Legal notice
By using Calendra you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms below.
Last updated: 2026-07-23
1. Acceptance
Accessing or using Calendra (the “Service”), including browsing calendars, creating an account, saving personal data, exporting PDF/iCal, or using the API, means you accept this Legal notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Consent to storage and processing of data
You acknowledge and agree that data you enter or provide while using the Service may be stored and processed for the purpose of providing, securing, improving, and supporting the Service. This may include, without limitation: account details (name, email, password hash, locale preferences), authentication and session data, personal calendars and custom days you create, favorites, feedback messages, billing/subscription records (if applicable), technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps), and similar operational data necessary to run Calendra.
You confirm that you have the right to provide any personal data you submit (including data about third parties, if any) and that such submission does not violate applicable law. You should not upload unlawful, confidential, or sensitive information that you are not authorized to process.
3. Calendar and holiday data — accuracy
We strive for maximum accuracy and currency of public holiday and calendar information. Sources, laws, regional rules, and observances change; automated and curated data may lag, be incomplete, or contain errors. Holiday names, types, dates, regional coverage, and related metadata are provided for general informational and planning convenience only.
You agree that Calendra is not an official government source, not legal advice, not tax/HR/payroll advice, and not a substitute for verifying dates with competent authorities, employers, or primary legislation. Always independently verify critical dates before relying on them.
4. No warranties
The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calendra and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business interruption, or similar losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on any calendar/holiday information — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (e.g. fraud or willful misconduct where such exclusion is prohibited).
6. Your content and use
You are solely responsible for content you create or upload (personal calendars, notes, shared links, feedback, API usage). You must not misuse the Service (abuse, scraping beyond allowed API/terms, attempting unauthorized access, distributing malware, or infringing others’ rights). We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or legal risk.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third parties (hosting, email, OAuth providers, payment processors). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. We are not responsible for outages or acts of third-party providers beyond reasonable control.
8. Changes
We may update this Legal notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised notice. Material changes may also be communicated in-product or by email where appropriate.
